He was born Feb. 18, 1959 in Trenton City, N.Y., son of Alton and Sandra (Foulks) Scott.
Reece was an avid fan of old-time radio theater shows and worked on writing many scripts in hopes to bring them back to audiences. He also loved restoring antique radios and telephones, which he collected through the years.
Reece also loved doing impressions of people he met throughout his life, and told many tales of his travels.
Reece is survived by his brother, Dean K. Scott, and sister, Sheila Scott-Markwood of New Jersey; and his mother, Sandra Jean Foulks Scott of New Jersey. His father died earlier.
Reece will be missed by his friends, Kimberly and her husband, Larry Leach of Hardy, Ark., Doug and his wife, Linda Hedlund Brown, of New Jersey; his home health aides, Daisy Hope, Jackie Wolmer, Tina Wood, Spike, Clayton, Charisma, Una and Betsy of Keene; and his many friends and former co-workers from WKNH Keene State Radio, MDS, Chesco, Resident Resources and Radio Shack.
There are no calling hours, but friends and colleagues are invited to attend the funeral service on Thursday at 1 p.m. at Fletcher Funeral Home, Marlboro Street, Keene. Private burial will follow on Friday at Monadnock View Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Association for the Blind, American Heart Association or MDS.
