She was born on July 11, 1939, in Keene, NH, daughter of the late Raymond and Gertrude (Ward) Hadley. She attended area schools and graduated from Keene High School with the class of 1957.
Following high school, Pat worked at the soda fountain at Max Cutright in Keene and then held a dedicated career at National Grange Mutual until her retirement.
On April 8, 1960, Pat married the love of her life, Alfred F. Perry.
Pat was a faithful parishioner of St. James Episcopal Church in Keene. Together she and Al enjoyed dancing with the Monadnock Squares, camping with the Cheshire Cats, and selling jewelry throughout New England at fairs – all places where they enjoyed meeting new people and making lots of connections that turned into friendships. They enjoyed attending NASCAR races, playing Bingo, taking bus tours and always cheering on the Red Sox and Patriots. Above all else, Pat loved her family and held a close bond with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She treasured holiday get-togethers with those she loved deeply and never missed an opportunity to share the gift of time.
Pat will be dearly missed by her daughter: Debi Coleman and husband Jeff of Walpole, NH; grandchildren: Caitlyn Coleman of Walpole, NH, and Craig Coleman and his fiance Angel of Langdon, NH; great-grandchildren: Ella, Oprea, Owen, Carter and Reese; brothers: Raymond Hadley, Jr, of West Swanzey, NH, and Richard Hadley and his significant other Marie of Hudson, NH; sister-in-law Alice Perry of Bellows Falls, VT; dear friends Rhoda and Theresa; as well as many nieces, nephews, and extended family members.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Alfred in 2016 and especially close sister-in-law Shirley Perry Davidoff of Bedford, TX.
Pat’s family wishes to acknowledge and express their gratitude to the staff at Maplewood Nursing Home for the wonderful care they provided throughout her stay.
Family and friends are invited to visit during calling hours from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm at Fletcher Funeral Home, 33 Marlboro Street, Keene, NH, on Monday, August 5th. A memorial service officiated by Reverend Elsa Worth will begin at 3:00 pm and burial will follow at Mt. View Cemetery in Swanzey, NH.
