Maureen McCord-Brooks, 52, of Keene, NH, died March 1, 2013 in Keene.
She was born in Prosser, Wash., daughter of James R. McCord of Wenatchee, Wash., and Sharon Gene McCallam of Walla Walla, Wash.
She was a 1978 graduate of Monadnock Regional High School and lived her last years in Keene. She had a lifelong passion for music and singing and loved fishing area ponds and lakes.
Survivors include her twin sister Mary McCord of Keene; brother Michael McCord of Exeter; and brother Bryan McCord of Keene.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that local AA groups be supported.
The Foley Funeral Home of Keene is assisting the family with arrangements.
