Marjorie Anne O'Neil

She was born in Keene on November 25, 1935, daughter of Gaylord and Hazel (Sewall) Holbrook. She was raised and educated in Keene, graduating from Keene High School in 1953.

Marge was a dedicated mom of three and a longtime member of the Keene Country Club for 55 years where she won numerous golf tournaments. She was also an avid New England sports fan.

For the past 34 years during the winter months Marge enjoyed the warmth and sunshine at her home on Hutchinson Island in Florida.

Marjorie is survived by her loving husband, Arthur "Chip" E. O’Neil, Jr., who she met at 16 years of age, and recently celebrated 67 years of marriage; two sons Jeffrey O’Neil and longtime companion Brenda Shuman of Port St Lucie, FL, Kevin O’Neil and his wife Susan of Keene, and Karen Haley and her husband Michael of San Antonio, FL; her grandchildren, Bryan, Jennifer, Conor, Molly, Carson, Jacob, and Nicole; her brother-in-law Timothy O’Neil and his wife Nancy of Wilbraham Ma, and many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her grandson Sean O’Neil; brother, William Holbrook, and brother-in-law, Michael O’Neil.

Services for Mrs. O’Neil will be handled privately by family.
