She was born on March 10, 1948 in Keene, with her identical twin Marilyn, the daughter of Richard and Vivian (Fish) Gilman.
For many years Marion worked for People’s Linen in Keene. She was also a member of the Arlington Grange #139, of Winchester.
She was passionate about taking care of her family and she loved being able to spend time with them. She always spent time preparing home-cooked meals and filling her home with the delicious smells of their favorites, including: beef stew, meatloaf, and shepherd’s pie. Her spirit was one of compassion and giving and she shared this with not only family but with those who blessed to call her “friend” as well. Those who knew her the best will miss her asking, “what’s for super?”.
She is survived by two sons, David Jordan and his wife Hazel of Winchester, NH and Brian Jordan of Marlborough, NH; three grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; her sister, Marilyn Robinson of Marlborough; and several nieces, nephews and extended family members. She was predeceased by her husband, David Jordan and her brother, Richard Gilman.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Bernard Church, 185 Main St. Keene, NH on Friday, September 21, 2018 at 10:30AM. Burial will follow in the Monadnock View Cemetery, Park Ave, Keene, NH. There will be no calling hours.
