Mom moved to Union Star with Dell and Aaron Morris to work at their cafe.  She told many stories of what she served to who and how they spent their time; dad was considered a very eligible bachelor but she had vowed not to get involved with a farmer or a school teacher.  Every time he was in the cafe he asked her out on a date-she refused until one of his "friends" convinced her that she had agreed to go out with dad.  Try to imagine a scene out of the the early 30's, in a cafe with guys nicknamed "skinny" and "moon" flirting with the girls!
