Kathryn B. Morin

She was born in Keene, NH, November 28, 1920, the daughter of Lucius and Mabel M. (MacLean) Curtis.

A lifelong resident of Keene, Mrs. Morin worked for nine years with the Keene High School Lunch Program and later at the Court Street Laundromat for five years. She was a member of the United Church of Christ in Keene. She was also a member of the Gordon Bissell American Legion Keene Post 4 Auxiliary.

Survivors include two daughters; Audrey R. Juniper and her husband, Charles, of Keene, Carol A. Tardiff of Winchester, NH, ten grandchildren, many great-grandchildren, a sister, Marilyn Coverson of Sarasota, Florida, and many nieces and nephews. Her husband, Ernest F. “Tuffy” Morin, died in December, 1997. Two sons; Robert H. Kirker, Sr. and Dennis C. Whitcomb, a brother, Charles Maclean, and two sisters; Beverly Smith and Charlotte Ryder, died earlier.

A graveside service will be held Friday, May 18, 2012 at 1:00 PM in St. Joseph Cemetery, Main Street, Keene. Rev. Ilona Kwiecien, Hospice Chaplain will officiate. Family and friends are welcome.
