Her parents, David J. and Irene (Goembeski) Twining welcomed their daughter into the world on April 11, 1950, in Hartford, CT. Kathryn grew up in Farmington, CT and was a 1968 graduate of Farmington High School.
She took great pride in raising her family and caring for her home and garden. She was a lover of all animals, nature, travel and camping, particularly in the national parks and forests with Matt and their family.
Kathryn was predeceased by her husband of 43 years, Matthew Karnecki. She is survived by four children, Jennifer Karnecki, Jeffrey Karnecki, Laurel Karnecki, and Kristin Karnecki; four grandchildren, Sophia and Matthew LaFarge, and Quinn and Seth Hayden; and four siblings, John Twining, Denise Rackliff, Susan Vitantonio, and Sheila McCallum; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Family and friends are invited to call on Wednesday, March 12, 2025, from 5:00 to 7:00pm at the Foley Funeral Home, 49 Court Street, Keene, NH. A memorial service and reception will be held on Thursday at 12:00pm in the Gilsum Congregational Church, 13 Main Street, Gilsum, NH.
