She was born in Brattleboro, VT, daughter of the late Myrtie M. and Perley H. Kent. She attended area schools and graduated from BUHS with honors in 1959. Following high school, she worked at Holstein-Friesian Association in Brattleboro, VT for two years.
In December of 1961 she married David A. Dubriske, Sr. They celebrated many joyous years together until his passing in 2009.
Jackie had been employed at Paper Service Mills as a secretary and bookkeeper. Later she worked as head teller at Cheshire National Bank in Hinsdale, NH and for Paul O Anat CPA for several years. She was involved in the startup of her husband’s construction company, Cheshire Builders, Inc. and assisted him for many years until his retirement in 2004.
Together, Jackie and David raised two sons. She enjoyed snowmobiling with her husband and family for 35 years. She and David enjoyed wintering in sunny Florida. She was a great lover of animals, especially cats, which she had numerous over the years. Jackie was also an avid reader and was constantly working on word search and crossword puzzles. She had read many books over the years and was fond of discussing them and trading them with/among her friends and with her dear niece, Aimee.
Jackie is survived by a son: David A. Dubriske, Jr. and his wife Francine of Franklin, MA; grandchildren: Kaeley Dubriske, Derek Dubriske, and Meredith Dubriske; brother-in-law: Rev. Edward J. Dubriske Jr, SSE retired in Florida; several nieces and nephews; Godson: John Marshall; and special Goddaughter: Rachael E. Coe.
In addition to her loving husband and parents, she was predeceased by her sisters Elizabeth G. Dessaint and Virginia E. Dessaint, grandson Zachary D. Dubriske, and son Daniel P. Dubriske.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on November 3, 2023, at 11:00 am at St. Bernard Catholic Church, 185 Main Street, Keene, NH. Burial will immediately follow at St. Joseph Cemetery in Keene, NH.
While flowers will be accepted, memorial donations in Jacqueline M.
