Her parents, Wayne and Adella (D’Amour) Baker welcomed their daughter into the world on February 27, 1945, in Willimantic, CT. Faith grew up in Willimantic and was a 1963 graduate of Windham High School in Willimantic.
She moved to Keene in 1976, working with Smith Medial Company for 25 years.
Fay enjoyed going to yard sales and antiquing. She also enjoyed her many shopping trips. She loved going to the beach, camping during the summer months, and found a special place in her heart for her pug dogs and French bulldogs.
You could always find Fay with her daughter, Theresa, and friend, Nancy, on their daily visits to Dunkin Donuts, enjoying a coffee and treat over wonderful conversations.
She will be greatly missed by many, especially her daughter, Theresa F. Carreira and her husband, Christopher J., of Rindge, NH; her son, William F. Brousseau, of NH; Jodi Burns whom she considered as a daughter and her partner, Amy Zamperini of Walpole, NH; her best friend and side-kick, Nancy Yeaton and her daughter, Karen LaBelle; a cousin, Sandra O’Brien and her fiancé, William Coughlin, of Keene; and her "Frenchies", Daisy Mae and Gracie Lee, AKA "Nuggie". Her husband of 56 years, Arthur W. Brousseau predeceased Faith on November 9, 2015. A brother, Richard Beaudoin; and two sisters, Ruth and Edna, predeceased her.
Another daily trait of Fay’s was having breakfast with her best friend Nancy, at The Pub Restaurant. It is therefore fitting that a celebration of life for Faith be held at The Pub on Saturday, May 24, 2025, from 1:00 to 3:00pm to enjoy some of her favorite breakfast foods along with munchkins and a "Box of Jo".
In lieu of flowers, for those who wish, donations may be made in Mrs. Brousseau’s memory to the NE Basset Hound Rescue, PO Box 321, Rutland, MA 01543.
