Doris Gudrun Hope

Doris G. Koch-Hope, 58 of Keene, NH died peacefully at home surrounded by her family on Thursday, February 16, 2017. She was born in Wurzburg, Germany on April 13, 1958; the daughter of the late Otto and Hermine (Glücker) Koch.

Doris attended school in Germany, where she met the love of her life, Daniel N. Hope, Sr. They courted for two years before marring in the U.S. on March 4, 1974. She loved doing arts and crafts, spending time with her family and friends, Facebook games, playing on her new tablet, attending yard sales, taking walks with her husband and making you laugh.

The angels she will be joining in heaven are: her parents, Otto and Hermine, Lothar, Martin, Juliete and John Hope, Sr. and her granddaughter, Michaela Nickerson.

She is survived by her husband, Daniel N. Hope, SR. of Keene; seven children, Daniela Hope-Tisdale and her partner Dawn Fournier, David Hope and his wife Andrea Flibotte-Hope, Debby hope, Danny Hope and his wife Jill Beaulieu-Hope, Daisy Hope and her partner Chris Winoski, Daniel Hope, Jr. and his wife Alisha, and Dixie Hope. She was a devoted grandmother to her thirteen grandchildren and appreciated every minute she was able to spend with them; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and countless children she adopted along the way.

There are no Calling Hours. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, February 25, 2017 from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm at the American Legion, 797 Court St, Keene, NH. The FLETCHER FUNERAL HOME, Keene, NH has been entrusted with arrangements. If you wish to contribute towards services, a Go Fund Me page has been established.
