Debbie Ann MacKinnon

She was born on February 13, 1966 in Keene, the daughter of Ralph E. and Jessie D. (Hastings) Hallowell, and sister of Donna Hallowell. She attended area schools and graduated from Keene High School on 1985.

Debbie met the love of her life, Ronald MacKinnon, by chance at a motorcycle shop and on July 22, 1995 they married at the Grace Methodist Church in Keene, NH.

Debbie had been employed by Laidlaw and loved seeing the school children every day on her routes. She was a member of the Eagle’s Ladies Auxiliary #1413. She enjoyed martial arts and volunteering for the Special Olympics at Keene High School. Debbie had a love for hummingbirds and collected anything and everything related. Debbie will be most fondly remembered for being an awesome and loving mom and wife.

Debbie will be greatly missed by her husband: Ronald MacKinnon of Keene; daughters: Kimmy MacKinnon of Keene, and Sara MacKinnon of Brattleboro, VT; grandchildren: Kia, Isaac, and Olivia; sister: Donna Hallowell and her significant other Carl Cormier of Keene; her puppies: Scout and Katie; as well as her niece Erica “Ex” Miller-Walker and nephew David B. Miller Jr., their and their Spouses and several children, Debbie’s great neices and nephews; her beloved cousins Danny Hendrickson, Jessie Quigley, Jay Bowen and Herman Hastings. Several Aunts and Uncles from the Hastings, Hallowell and Patnode Familes. Debbie is also survived by several other neices, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles extended Family and friends.

Debbie was proceeded in death by her grandparents Zeb and Eleanor Hasitings and Stella Patnode of Stella’s Family Restaurant.

Family and friends are invited to call on Friday, September 21, 2018 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at Fletcher Funeral Home, 33 Marlboro Street, Keene, NH with burial to be followed. A celebration of Debbie’s life will be held that afternoon from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm at the Willam Marconi Italian Club at 97 Wood St, Keene, NH 03431.
