David Arthur Strahan

David Arthur Strahan, 66 of West Swanzey, NH, was born May 27, 1955 to the late Arthur and Ethelyn (Deneault) Strahan in Greenfield, MA, and completed the “full circle” when he passed away peacefully on May 27, 2021.

He grew up in Deerfield, MA and graduated from Frontier Regional High School with the class of 1973.

David was many things, a brother to Shari Strahan of Deerfield, MA, a loving husband to Dawn (Stroffolino) Strahan of 27 years, and father to two adopted daughters, Jasmine Strahan and Jordanna Strahan.

David was a man of many talents, such as pursuing his love for music and playing the keyboard. He also loved hobbies of playing pool, being a car enthusiast, and racing, which he shared with his best friend Peter Pillsbury. He was a man with a heart large enough to foster many children, including Cat Blanchard of Keene, with whom he shared a particularly special bond. Being parents truly completed the life that he and Dawn had built together. David’s love extended to animals as well. He was also hardworking as he continued to successfully carry on his father’s business, Mohawk Music and Games, that began in 1932.

Many friends and family resided in his heart, such as many nieces and nephews, and cousin Kathy Rugg of Greenland, NH.

David was an extraordinary man and will be missed and remembered by many.

A celebration of David’s life will be held at a later date.
