David was born in Keene on April 18, 1951, the son of Phillip and Yvette (Boisvert) Pellerin. He attended local schools and was a 1969 graduate of Keene High School.
He married Mary Ellen DiBernardo on August 4, 1979 in Marlborough, NH.
As a Master Plumber and owner of Pellerin Plumbing and Heating, David never hesitated to go the extra mile for customers in need — from late-night frozen pipes, to plumbing emergencies on holidays. His “plumbing” experiences even included removing a live squirrel from a customer’s bathroom.
Contrary to his gruff yankee exterior, he had a generous spirit, discreetly donating to dozens of charities regularly, and helping countless people on an individual basis.
He was a longtime parishioner of St. Bernard’s Church in Keene. He was also a trophy-winning candlepin bowler. He especially enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, golfing, and building things for his wife’s many gardens.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Ellen; son Brian Pellerin and wife Leanne, of Rollinsford, NH; daughter Letitia Pellerin-Mast and husband David, of Keene; grand-daughter Hannah Pellerin of Rollinsford; and siblings Ronald Pellerin and wife Nancy, of Keene; Linda Bianco and husband Richard, of Rhode Island; Joyce Pellerin, of Keene; and Jane Martin and husband Scott, of Keene. Aunts and uncles include Joseph and Marjorie Pellerin, of Swanzey Center; Helene Dunchus, of Arizona; and Roland Boisvert, of Dracut, MA; plus many nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was proud and strong, and will be greatly missed.
A funeral service will be held Thursday, January 12, 2017 at 10:00AM in the Foley Funeral Home, 49 Court Street, Keene. Burial will follow in the Greenlawn Cemetery, Greenlawn Street, Keene. Family and friends are invited to call on Wednesday from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at the Foley Funeral Home.
