Christopher Mark Baumgartner

Christopher M. Baumgartner, 27 of Swanzey, NH passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, March 7, 2017 at his residence. He was born in Downers Grove, IL on May 2, 1989; the son of Mark and Annette Baumgartner.

Christopher was educated in the area school system, graduating from Monadnock Regional High School, Class of 2007. He then went on to attend Keene State College, earning a Bachelor’s Degree in Business. Christopher was an extremely talented musician. He wrote his own music and played many instruments. He had a great sense of humor, was adventurous, fun loving and very kind hearted. He enjoyed motorcycles, golf, hiking, camping and loved his two Chihuahuas, Indy and Laney.

He is survived by his parents, Mark and Annette Baumgartner of Swanzey, NH; a brother, Kevin Baumgartner of Wichita, KS; a sister, Katrina Baumgartner and her partner Joe Breckell of Keene.

Calling Hours will be held on Thursday, March 16, 2017 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at FLETCHER FUNERAL HOME, 33 Marlboro St., Keene, NH 03431. A Funeral Service will be celebrated on Friday, March 17, 2017 at 11am at First Congregational Church of Swanzey, 679 Old Homestead Hwy Swanzey, NH 03446. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Keene Community Music Center, 69 Island St #2, Keene, NH 03431.
