She was born in Keene, on March 2, 1931, to Alexander and Annie (Holman) Campbell. She attended local schools and was a 1949 graduate of Keene High School. After graduation she entered the nursing program at Elliot Community Hospital.
She married Reese Every, Sr. in a ceremony at the First Congregational Church (United Church of Christ) in Keene, on September 18, 1954, and celebrated 41 years of marriage before his death in 1996.
She worked for New England Telephone, in Keene, as an Operator, for Anderson the Florist for a period and later for Bradlee’s Department Store, for over 10 years before retirement.
She was a member of the Gilsum Co-Operative Extension Service. While living in Florida, she was a member of the Ft. Myers Red Hat Society. Her greatest adventure was living with her family in Africa.
She is survived by her children: Yvonne Spalthoff and her husband, Ronald, of Roxbury, Diana Croteau and her husband, Douglas of Winchester, Kim Paquette and her husband, Armand, and Russell Every of Keene; her step children: Crystal Thomasson of AZ, Reese Every, Jr. and his wife, Wanda of NH and Sandra Silva of AZ; 14 grandchildren: Sarah Paquette, Alicia Ferreira, Jonathan Croteau, Valerie Croteau, Victoria Croteau, Elizabeth Tucker, Scott Melander, Ryan Melander and Darren Melander, Anna Thomasson, Matthew Thomasson, Tamara Barrett, Reese Every, III and Adam Silva; 18 great grandchildren, a sister: Betty Buckley and her husband, Carl of Roxbury and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Services will be held on Thursday, March, 24, 2016, at 10:00 am, at the Sturtevant Chapel, 15 Washington Ave, Keene. Burial will follow at the Nye Hill Cemetery, Roxbury, NH. Per the family’s request, there are no public calling hours.
