He was born, in Keene, on June 6, 1953, to George E. and Lena E. (Peabody) Lemieux. He grew up in the Keene area and attended local schools.
Music, family and friends were his primary interests. He was an avid musician and drummer; he played for many local bands and had a wealth of music trivia knowledge. He also really enjoyed his red Ford truck. He was a social person who enjoyed spending time with his friends and family.
He was survived by his siblings: Gary Lemieux of Fitzwilliam, Rebecca Rice of Winchester, Joyce Clark of Hinsdale, Judith McDonough of Nelson and Raymond Lemieux of Manchester; his children: Kimmy LaBrie, Jennifer L’Abbe, Amanda L’Abbe, Tonya L’Abbe and Susie L’Abbe as well as their brother Justin Aldsworth and their mother Darlene L’Abbe, all of Keene. He is also survived by five grandchildren: Scott LaBrie, Rianne Theall, Jaydon L’Abbe, Anthony James and Nevaeh L’Abbe.
There are no public calling hours or services planned at this time. There will be a Memorial service held at a later date in the spring at Evergreen Cemetery in Winchester.
