He was born on May 21, 1930 in Claremont, NH to Arthur A. and Laura (Duval) Boufford. He married Beatrice Starkey on June 3, 1950. They were happily married for 66 years
He attended local schools and graduated from Keene High School in 1948.
After high school he spent 35 years in banking, making his way from Teller to Executive Vice President before he retired in 1986 to become a Real Estate Broker.
Arthur had been Treasurer, Vice-President, and President of the Monadnock Region Board of Realtors, MRBR realtor of the year, and a Director and Treasurer of the New Hampshire Association of Realtors. He was a former President of the Keene Kiwanis Club, Director of the Monadnock Travel Council, on the Board of Directors of Home Health Care and a board member of the Monadnock Regional School District.
Arthur enjoyed photography and was a published scenic photographer in books, magazines, post cards, and calendars. He was an excellent drummer and played locally for many years with the Allen Kendall Orchestra. An avid golfer and member of the Keene Country Club for over 45 years, he received his first hole-in-one last year.
He is survived by his wife, daughters, Judy Boufford of Keene and Linda Farina of Swanzey, nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his parents and his daughter Joyce.

There will be no calling hours. A private burial will take place this spring at Mt. Caesar Cemetery.
