He was born, at the Boston Floating Hospital, on October 23, 1937. He was the son of Agnes Marion Willette and one of 14 brothers and sisters. He attended Keene area schools, proudly earning and receiving his school letter.
Mr. Fish worked for a number of local businesses over his employment, most recently at Whitney Bros, and before that at Kingsbury Machine Tool Corp. He was highly regarded as a craftsman in both wood and as a machinist.
Armond married Jacqueline E. Peets on October 31, 1981. They spent 31 years together until her passing in December of 2012. She cared for him and loved him unconditionally.
Mr. Fish enjoyed long, back road drives, where he could enjoy nature’s beauty and discuss the changes time brings. He was an enthusiast regarding politics, always reading the local newspaper, watching politics on TV, in the news. He would hone in on the signal on the radio to hear discussion on world and local events. He enjoyed many hobbies in his life; such as riding motorcycles, candle pin bowling, roller skating, swimming. He loved the outdoors, going camping, boating and fishing. He was a talented woodworker. He also enjoyed playing his guitar, harmonica or even a set of spoons. He was a show off, a great heckler, but more than all of the above he was an entertainer.
He is survived by his son: Armond O. Fish, Jr. and two daughters: Tammy Fish-Ondracek and Tina Duran; eleven grandchildren, Michael Fish, Timothy LaBounty, Sarah Lanpher, Nina Fish and Audrey Douglas-Fish, Amanda Tetreault, Tony Tetreault, Andrew Gross, Craig Gross, Jana Duran and Jessica Duran; 10 great grandchildren; three brothers: Frank Rhoades, Dennis Rhoades and Dean Rhoades; three sisters: Marlene Lounder, Arlene Mead and Sondra Blake; 3 step children as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.
