Patricia Ann Baumgarten Webster

Pat was born on April 9, 1928 to Dr. and Mrs. Elden Baumgarten in Detroit, MI. She

Grew up in Grosse Pointe, MI. She attended the Liggett School and the University of Michigan where she earned a Master of Music in Organ and Theory. Pat was a Member of Delta Gamma, Mu Phi Epsilon, Mortarboard , and Phi Kappa Phi at the University of Michigan.

Pat Married William Webster in 1953. He passed away in August, 2008.

The family lived in Detroit, Chicago, Mexico City, Encino, CA and St. LOUIS. Professionally Pat was an organist for various churches and the accompanist for the St. Louis County Community Chorus for several years. She and her husband Bill were Members of Ladue Chapel in St. LOUIS, where she was an Elder and Ushering Deacon and occasional organist, and Kirk in the Hills in Bloomfield Hills Michigan.

Other affiliations included PEO Chapter HF, the St. Louis Club and the Wednesday Club.

Pat leaves behind 3 loving daughters: Elisabeth Benner (Scott), Philadelphia; the Rev. Anne Schaefer (Kevin, deceased 2017), W. Bloomfield MI; and Susan Griffen (Timothy) Frankfort MI.

Pat was a beloved grandmother to eight Grandchildren: William Nicholas Brown (Paulette) Tucker Pennock Brown, Wendy Elise Brown; Emma Elisabeth Schaefer (Tarun) , Molly Norwood Schaefer, Zachary Webster Griffen, Samuel Griffen and Heidi Wolcott Griffen.

Pat was also recently blessed with a Great grandchild, Max Pennock Brown.

A private family service will take take place and the family is planning a celebration of Pat's life at a future time when her loved ones can travel gather safely. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Kirk in the Hills Presbyterian Church 1340 W Long Lake Road, Bloomfield Twp MI 48302
