Jack graduated from Michigan State University in 1974 and remained a huge fan and supporter until the end. Jack was welcomed at Heavens gates by his wife of 41 years, Pat Avery (Duff), who went to make a place for them June 4, 2020. They were married April 7, 1979 and were the most incredible parents to their two children Becky and Chris Avery and their fur babies Pogo and Tucker. Jack had retired as a State Farm agent in Oct 2016 after 40 years. He was an extremely involved father, volunteering at school and sporting events and loved coaching baseball for several years in Waterford. A man of deep faith, he volunteered at his church and was a faithful servant of God. Jack was a favorite friend and neighbor to so many. In his neighborhood, he was known as the dog whisperer since he always had treats for any four-legged furry friend.
The world was lucky to have him and he will be strongly missed by all who knew and loved him.
