Reverend Arnold Quintin Hashman, of Waterford, passed away Wednesday, February 10, 2021 at the age of 101. Arnold received his Ordination with the Assemblies of God in 1942, and faithfully served as minister and pastor in several Michigan churches for nearly seventy years, including Bethel Tabernacle in Flint, First Assembly in Pontiac, Calvary Assembly of God in Waterford and Dayspring Assembly of God in Jackson, Michigan. He lived a lifetime dedicated to sharing the Christian Gospel, working and serving as Pastor, helping to lead the founding of churches, and in later years serving as interim Pastor throughout Michigan. He was and is beloved by many.
Preceded in death by Viola Jayne Hashman his wife of 53 years, his son Arnold Joel Hashman, Mary Lynn Hashman his wife of 15 years, and grandson William Pettijohn, Arnold is survived by daughters Carol, Judy and Mary (Viola Jayne), and Bill, Kim and James (Mary Lynn). He is survived by three generations of grandchildren.
Due to pandemic, the family will hold a private burial service. A memorial to celebrate Arnold’s life will be held at a later date.
