Lula Thela Wilson, 82, of Kaufman, TX passed away on October 6, 2015. She was born to William Franklin and Nancy Ann Elizabeth Parson on June 30, 1933 in Styx, TX. Lula was a strong – hard working person. She worked as a sales associate at several different companies but did anything she could to provide for her family. “Granny G”, as her grandkids and great-grandkids came to know her, raised her 4 children: Jimmy, Marvin, Randy and Evon by herself. She was a loving, caring mother, grandmother, great-grandma, great-great grandma and sister. Lula was very strong willed and determined. She would tell you what she thought and didn’t let any difficult circumstance keep her from taking care of her kids. Spending time with her family was the most important time for her. She leaves a legacy of 15 grandchildren, 44 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great- grandchildren. Those who have preceded her are: parents William and Nancy; siblings John F. Parson, Josephine Johnson, RB L Parson, Olama Patterson, James Parson and Lena Marie Woolum; great-granddaughter Ashley Peek and great-great-grandson Eric Wayne Ojeda and baby Elsie Gene Wilson. Those left to cherish her memory are her sons Jimmy Maurice Wilson, Marvin Dwayne Wilson and Randy Ray Wilson and wife Paula; and daughter Lorraine Evon Stewart and fiancée Alvin Ivy; siblings Ruby Reschke, Faye Roy, Jerry Don Parson; all her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren and numerous extended family and friends who will miss her dearly.
