She was born to Guillermo and Hermila Castillo in General Teran, Nuevo Leon, Mexico. After graduating from Macarthur High School, she became an accomplished hairdresser for 34 years and had a second career working for the City of Houston Public Works for the next 10 years. Veronica was a social butterfly and brightened up everyone’s life she touched. She loved spending time cooking and baking to provide delicious meals to her family and friends. Her laughter and personality were contagious and brought many smiles to those that knew her. She spent her free time gardening and showing off her green thumb.
She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Larry Farr; sons Jason Farr, Creighton Farr and his wife Krysta; 2 grandchildren Carys Farr and Skyler Farr; sisters Marty Spears and her husband Bill, Lucy Andrews and her husband Chad, Christina Espinoza and her husband Roger; nephews and nieces, Brian Spears, Will Fischer, Delia Espinoza, and Rebeca Espinoza.
