Teresa Jo Milligan

She spent her early years in Warsaw, Indiana, and finished pre adult years in Anderson, Indiana. During this time, she had four children. In

the summer of 1972, she met Rick Milligan and they were married on May 27, 1973. She gave birth to another child on June 11, 1978. In September of 1985, her husband joined the Army and Terry did a great deal of travel. Since that time, she has lived in Germany, Sierra Vista, AZ, Corpus Christi, TX, Baton Rouge, LA, Manhatten, KS, Houston, TX and San Tan Valley, AZ.

She is survived by her husband, Rick Milligan, of San Tan Valley, AZ; her children: Donald Bookout, of San Tan Valley, AZ; Lisa Bookout,

Denny Bookout and Tom Bookout, all of Lafayette, IN; and Patrick Milligan, of Katy, TX.

Other than her family, the other love of Terry's life was her Paul Mitchell family. She was an educator for more than 30 years. She has taught for

Paul Mitchell in Indiana, Texas, Louisiana, Missouri, and Arizona.

"First and foremost, Terry loved her family and doted on the grand and

great grand children. She was an artist at her soul, channeling her

creativity and skills in Hair Design and color, as well as painting and

drawing. Terry naturally saw the good in people and helped them believe

in themselves. Her family, friends, co-workers and humanity are better

for her short journey on earth."

A Memorial Service celebrating Terry's life will be Monday, August 11, 2014, at 1:00PM, in the Chapel of Katy Funeral Home, 23350 Kingsland Boulevard, Katy, TX 77494. Chaplain Daniel Schramm will officiate. Fellowship with the Milligan family will follow with a catered reception in the Event Room of Katy Funeral Home.
