Suezann Louise Oxley Stewart

She was a native Houstonian and graduate of South Houston High School. Suezann is proceeded in death by her parents, Frank Oliver Oxley and Billie Margaret Wilkinson. She is survived by her husband of nearly 43 years, Thomas Wayne Stewart and her daughter, Johna Alexandra Filis-Mercado (Manuel Mercado) and grandson, Sebastian Thomas Mercado. She is also survived by her siblings, Eric & Dollie Cain and Sheryl Oxley Prescott, along with numerous nieces and nephews.

Suezann worked in accounting services within the Oil & Gas industry for a number of years before retiring in 2000. She was an avid lover of animals, true crime stories, shopping and especially spending time with her grandson.

The family is especially grateful to the staff of VibraLife Katy for providing her with excellent care the past year.

A memorial service officiated by Pastor Scott Cummings of the Peace Church Pearland will be at 10:00 A.M. on Monday, February 20, 2023 at Katy Funeral Home, 23350 Kingsland Blvd., Katy Texas 77494.

There will be a reception at the family home in Katy following the service.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the SPCA of Houston.
