Robert James Harrelson

He was born to Lovelee Fern Harrelson & Jimmy Lee Harrelson in Fort Sail, Oklahoma. As a child, his family would then move to Bakersfield, California where he grew up. Bob would eventually earn an Associate’s Degree in Automotive Technology and worked as an ASE Certified Technician Foreman. Bob married the love of his life, Ellen Marie Register on August 28th, 1965 in Bakersfield, CA.

Robert enjoyed reminiscing on the past and loved to tell stories, spending time with his family and helping his family with projects. He enjoyed fishing, building and repairing things and was best known for being a car enthusiast. He truly cared for everyone including his daughter in law and son in law as his own.

Robert was preceded in death by his mother Lovelee Fern Harrelson, his father Jimmy Lee Harrelson, his daughter Barbara Ann Harrelson, and his dog Daisy.

He leaves behind to cherish his memories his loving wife Ellen Harrelson, his son Jimmy Harrelson, his daughter Tamura Hinojosa, his grandsons Jonathon Harrelson and Ryan Harrelson, his granddaughters Kayln Sosa and Ellie Hinojosa, his three great grandsons and one great granddaughter.

A memorial service for Robert will be held Saturday, December 16, 2023 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Katy Funeral Home, 23350 Kingsland Blvd, KATY, TX 77494, followed by a visitation from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM.
