Ricardo Lopez III

Ricky is survived by his father, Ricardo Lopez Jr, mother, Maria Magdalena Lopez, his siblings: Ashley Noemi Willson, Vanessa Nicole Lopez, Matthew Luis Lopez and Kaylee Gabriella Lopez; as well as his nephews: Liam Kendall Lopez, Caellumn Ryan Lopez-Willson, and Rowan James Adams; grandmother Linda Mercedes Duffy and many aunts, uncles, cousins. He was predeceased by his grandparents: Juan Luis Mendoza, Noemi Mendoza, and Nicky Vaughn Duffy.

Ricky was a gentle giant with a heart of gold. He could light up a room in an instant with his laughter and witty jokes. His heart was kind and tender when it came to his siblings. He was his brother’s keeper, and he took on a very special role with so much pride from the moment their eyes met. Ricky was a selfless friend who loved to highlight other’s strengths and beauty only to see them smile. His huge warm bear hugs will be so missed.

Ricky was an active and competitive gamer who would never shy away from a good challenge, win or lose. His time spent with his gaming buddies was priceless. He loved them BIG and they too, were his family. Through these means, he met his young love who brought so much happiness and excitement for life.

Please help us celebrate his life by joining us at Katy Funeral Home, 23350 Kingsland Boulevard, Katy, Texas 77494, on Friday, November 4, from 4:00-8:00 p.m. We will have a time of fellowship from 4:00-6:00PM with a service to begin at 6:00PM.
