Uncle Pete will be missed by his family.  He brought love, smiles and happiness to many.  We shall cherish the memories.

The day I met Pete was the luckiest day of my life. He was like my lucky penny who brought me unconditional love, joy, understanding and contentment to my life. I knew he truly loved me as much as I loved him, and that he would stand by me whether I was healthy or sick, strong or weak. We were both happy with the knowledge of the great love that we had for each other. The happiness I would feel while listening to him breath at night as he was sleeping, is now gone. I am happy we had the last night together, and that we held each other all night long. 
The hardest day of my life was watching Pete die, but I will be forever grateful that I was able to be there for him and help him through. The last words he said were: "I love you" to me. When I said I love you too we both knew that our love was real and strong and that it will last forever. I love you Pete

Grandpa Pete you were one of a kind. Such a very special man. You left a mark in everyone's heart. We love and miss you so much.

Pete was the best grandfather to my children that they ever could have asked for. He loved Camden and Sophia completely, and they loved him. Sophia says that he is now in the stars watching us, and I have to agree. Pete was a DOER. He didn't express his love in words but in deeds. He took care of small things for everyone to let us know how he felt. There is no question that the world is a bit more empty without him here. But the love that he brought to those who knew him will never be forgotten. We all love Pete.

Grampa Pete, I will always love and miss you very much. You will be in my heart forever.

Dad, I miss you and love you.  You said for us girls to take care of each other because we are all we have now.  Please take care of Savanna, grandpa and everyone in heaven cause you now have each other. Take care of each other. Heaven couldn't wait for you.  How blessed we have been to have you in our lives, now heaven is blessed to have you. All of you. Until we meet up again,  you have what is left of my heart. XOXO
