Nancy was born on September 12, 1942 in Tulare, California, to Lt. Col. Chester M. Campbell and Mrs. Geraldine Campbell. Nancy graduated from the University of Incarnate Word in 1969 with a bachelor’s degree in early education and training. Nancy worked for a short time as a teacher before starting her own family.
After Nancy’s children were all grown, she spent many years as an executive assistant in the oil and gas industry. During her years since retirement, Nancy enjoyed traveling with family and friends, and spending time with her grandchildren.
Nancy is survived by her children, Sean Erick Stobaugh and Stacie Loaiza; son-in-law Jerry Loaiza; grandchildren Shelby Loaiza, Morgan Loaiza, Ryver Kirk, Brac Kirk and Blaine Kirk; ex-husband, Gary Lynn Stobaugh; and brother Gregory DuPont Campbell.
Because of Nancy’s love for life and her family she was able to endure a seven-year battle with breast cancer with extraordinary spirit and strength. We ask in lieu of flowers or other expressions of sympathy you consider making a donation to the Susan B. Komen Foundation in Nancy’s honor at https://www.komen.org/how-to-help/donate/memorial-giving/.
In honoring Nancy’s wishes, there will be no funeral or memorial service. Please join us in privately celebrating her life with a prayer, a smile, a laugh and a thankful heart for all our friends and families keeping them close to our hearts.
