Maria Garza McCluskey, born May 19, 1947 in Edna, Texas died on Wednesday, March 26, 2014 in Katy, Texas. Maria is survived by son, Ernesto C. Villarreal (Paco); grandchildren, Ivan Villarreal, Madison Villarreal and Austin Villarreal; daughter, Noemi V. Madrid (Mimi); son-in-law, Joseph S. Madrid; grandchildren, Alejandra D. Madrid, Angelica M. Madrid and Luis E. Madrid; brothers to Maria: Epifanio R. Garza, Daniel R. Garza, Alfredo R. Garza and Jose R. Garza; sisters to Maria: Rita Ann Chavez, Margaret R. Garza, brother-in-law, Armando Aranda. Devoted friend to Maria: Jose Garcia, and numerous nephews, nieces and cousins. Visitation with the family will be held from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Sunday, March 30, 2014 at Katy Funeral Home, 23350 Kingsland Boulevard with recitation of the Rosary at 7:00 pm. The Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 am on Monday, March 31, 2014 at St. Bartholomew the Apostle Catholic Church, 5356 11th Street in Katy with Rev. John Kha Tran as Celebrant.
