Javier was born in Mexico City, July 31, 1943 to parents, Angel and Carmen Lopez.
He studied at the IPN Zacatecno Institute and followed with a career at Lafin Laboratories as a Technical Advisor all while forming his family.
In 1974, Javier decided to follow his passion for music, became a guitarist and moved his family to the US.
Here, he worked at local restaurants and popular nightclubs with his duo band called, Sony 2. Years following , he became a solo guitarist and showcased his talent at fine dining restaurants and in 2004 landed at a popular restaurant in Katy, Texas, El Jarrito. Throughout his years there, Javier became like family to the establishment and patrons.
Javier is preceded by his parents and his older sister, Caroline.
Along with his wife Aurora, Javier is also survived by his 3 children, Angelica, Cindy and Javier Jr., as well as his grandchildren, Joshua, Emily, Aiden and Savanna.
In 2016, he was diagnosed with a terminal illness and given very little hope and time. But the love from his family, his love for life and simple things, gave him strength to pull through to gift us 8 more beautiful years. Until the last of his days, he blessed everyone around him with his tender love, music, and laughter.
He will be forever missed and forever loved.
