Francisco Elizondo Izaguirre

My beloved father, Francisco Elizondo Izaguirre, 71, of Sealy, Texas passed away on Tuesday, March 14th in Katy, Texas.

Visitation will be on Friday, March 31st, 2023, from 4 pm – 8 pm at the Katy Funeral Home located at 23350 Kingsland Blvd. Katy, TX 77494.

Funeral services will be held at 11 am on Saturday, April 1st at the Katy Funeral Home located at 23350 Kingsland Blvd. Katy, TX 77494. Burial will follow at the Immaculate Conception Cemetery located at 833 Main Street Sealy., Texas 77474. Arrangements are by Katy Funeral Home.

Francisco Elizondo Izaguirre was born in Matamoros, Tamaulipas, Mexico to Margarito Izaguirre and Manuela Elizondo on December, 1st 1951. He traveled a lot in his youth from Northern Mexico to Colorado even up to Wyoming. Oh, the stories. My Dad had stories of his travels then he ended up in Texas and well met my Mom. They fell in love and he married Olivia Reyna on February 25th, 1978 at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Wharton, Texas. Once they were married they started a family and from that moment on for both of them focused on raising us kids. My Dad worked hard to provide for his family and his love and support is what gives us strength. He was protector, provider, teacher, supporter, in essence he was the very best Dad. The strongest hands I’ve ever known are the hands that raised me.

Francisco Izaguirre is preceded in death by his father Margarito Izaguirre, mother Manuela Elizondo Izaguirre, wife Olivia Silva and daughter Matilda Marie Izaguirre.

Francisco Elizondo Izaguirre is survived by his first-born daughter Manuela Olivia Izaguirre and his beloved son and primary caregiver Frank Izaguirre Jr.
