I've lost my little sister that I loved very much.  I'll always remember the good times we had when we were younger. I always admired her musical talent ( 1st chair clarinet in band in high school & could have been a concert pianist if she had wanted) Also, she was a straight A student throughout school without even trying. She did a great job raising  a beautiful and smart daughter and was a wonderful grandmother.  So remember Toni, Peyton, & Haley you are her Legacy. Make her proud!

Evelyn was my baby sister.  She use to cuddle with me in my bed
before I left home.  She was my baby sister.  She was 11 years younger and was always loved and cherished.  She brought music, laughter, intelligence and class to our family.  She graduated one year early from Pasadena High School.  She was too smart for them.  Not only was she beautiful; she was good and kind.  She did not suffer fools, though, and stayed true to herself and her beliefs.  She was always loving and thoughtful of me, my daughter, Carol, and my granddaughter, Genna.  She met her soulmate, Keith Garza, who was the love of her life.  God bless you Keith.  She adored and championed her daughter, Toni Hudson and her son, Jeremy Garza.  She loved her Grandchildren beyond words.  We will all miss her love of music, her hugs and her smiles.  Just remember, she will play on and live on through all of us who loved her.  I know she will be smiling and watching over everyone.  May she rest in peace.  Love always and forever.  Your big sister, Marie

Evelyn was more than my sister she was my best friend.  She was so beautiful, talented, brilliant, and the fiercest defender of those she loved.  Evelyn gave me the greatest gift of introducing me to the music of Beethoven, Liszt and Brahms. I would listen to her play her baby grand piano for hours as a child. Later in life we would sit at the piano and she would play Linda Ronstadt, Karla Bonoff  among others and I would attempt to sing along. There is not a minute that goes by that I don’t think of her. She made the world a much better place and her loss cannot be expressed in words. I will love you Evelyn forever, thank you. For bringing such joy to my life , your baby brother Patrick

Evelyn wasn’t just my sister , she was also my best friend . So beautiful, strong , intelligent, talented and was the fiercest defender of those she loved . I miss her beyond words. I was the youngest child by many years and my favorite memories were laying underneath her grand piano while she played  Beethoven, Schubert and Bach. She introduced me to classical music and transported me to a beautiful world of sounds and imagination. I love you Evelyn with  every beat of my heart  and breathe of my soul.  We will be together again .
