Don Butler Branan, age 79, of Katy, Texas passed away on Thursday, July 23, 2020. Don was born January 25, 1941 to Esther Louise Branan and James Iverson Branan.

Don is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Janie Branan; sons, Joe Branan, James Branan; brother Lynn Branan, sister, Jenny Tompkins, Peggy Kuenstle; granddaughter, Kimberly Branan; grandson, Ethan Branan; and a host of other nieces, nephews, family, and friends.

Don was preceded in death by father James Iverson Branan and mother Esther Louise Branan.

A memorial service for Don will be held Saturday, August 1, 2020 at 1:00 PM at Katy Funeral Home, 23350 Kingsland Blvd, Katy, TX 77494. A catered reception will occur Saturday, August 1, 2020 at 2:00 PM, 23350 Kingsland Blvd, Katy, TX 77494. A cremation will occur.
