Dolores Mae Ohnemus

She is survived by her son Jerry Jones (Linda); grandchildren, Steven Jones (Heather) and Cammie Wright (Sam); two great granddaughters, Eleanore Jones and Noel Bruner (Cory); and two great, great granddaughters, Rivers and Marigny Bruner; a sister, Shirley Stewart, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Ralph; mother, Emma Burg Peter; father, John Peter; and seven siblings: Fern, Kenneth, John, Francis, Evelyn, Verdell and Ralph.

Born in East St. Louis, IL in 1928, Dolores loved travelling and living overseas with her husband during his numerous job assignments, sharing many great adventures together, and making friends all over the world. She also loved collecting clowns and other whimsical figurines but, most of all, she loved to shop whether it was in a market in a foreign country or wherever she lived in the States.

Visitation will be from 9:00am to 10:00am, Katy Funeral Home, 23350 Kingsland Blvd, on Tuesday, April 15, 2025, with services and reception immediately following. The procession for interment will line up at 12:00 leaving at 12:15pm for the Houston National Cemetery, 10410 Veterans Memorial Dr.
