Deborah was born February 8, 1942 in Brooklyn, New York to Hyman and Anne Pincas. Shortly after graduating Tilden High School in Brooklyn, she met the love of her life and started her incredible family. That is where she lived most of her life until moving to Houston, Texas in 1992.
Deborah is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, Paul Bernstein of Houston, Texas; her daughter, Malissa Bernstein of Houston, Texas; sons, Jason Bernstein (Mary Ann) of Houston Texas, and Jonathan Bernstein (Julie) of Katy, Texas. She spent much of her life surrounded by the love of her cherished grandchildren: Alyson Bernstein, Jordan Bernstein, Jessica Bernstein, Jake Bernstein, Zachary Bernstein, and Jenna Bernstein; and great-grandchild, Riley. She is also survived by her two brothers, Jesse Pincas (Rhoda) and Fred Pincas (Linda Maugeri).
Deborah’s life was full and rich with loving family and friends. She was an amazing advisor and confidante to so many and the fiercest advocate and supporter to everyone she loved.
The Bernstein family would like to give a special thanks to the Memorial Hermann Hospital and staff who took great care of her in her final days of life.
A memorial service for close family and friends will be held at 10:00 AM CST on Friday, January 15, 2021 in the Rio Grande Chapel of Katy Funeral Home (23350 Kingsland Blvd. Katy, TX 77494).
Live stream of the service will be available on Katy Funeral Home's Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/KatyFuneralHome/).
