Charline Henneke, 65, of Katy Texas, passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 23, 2020 following an extended illness at her home in Katy, Texas. She was born April 21, 1954 in Hico, Texas to parents Willie Karasek Jr. and Marcella Karasek.
Charline was raised in Brookshire, Texas and graduated from Royal High School. Charline loved her family and her career. She also enjoyed fishing, cooking for large family events, and spending any free time with her family, especially her children and grandchildren. She was a loving and caring person, beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend, always thinking of others first. “To know her was to love her.”
In addition to her parents, Charline was preceded in death by her sister, Dolores Marquess; and her brother, Leonard Karasek.
Charline is survived by her son Jason Henneke of Katy, her daughter Jennifer Fajkus and husband Scott Fajkus of East Bernard; brothers Eugene Karasek and wife Evelyn of Evant, TX; Wilburn (Buck) Karasek and wife Shirley of East Bernard; Daniel (Chick) Karasek and wife Bernadette of East Bernard, and sister Dian Peschel of East Bernard; grandchildren Janson Henneke; Jordyn Gilleland and husband Brandon Gilleland; Sarah Fajkus and Melissa Fajkus; great grandchildren Charlize and Cullen Gilleland; family friend Theresa Thornton of Katy Texas; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 7th at 2PM at the Katy Funeral Home (Dignity Memorial) with Thomas Naismith officiating.
