She attended Nazareth Academy and in her sophomore year she met the love of her life, Pat. She played in the Drum and Bugle Corp while her love played football. After graduating in 1961, she attended Victoria College. Four years later on July 17, 1965, she married her football player, Patrick Joseph Nevlud.
Pat’s career led them to San Antonio, McAllen, Beaumont, and lastly Katy, Texas. While residing in San Antonio, Carrol worked for a local catholic school, and she worked several years in the retail industry. She also worked for Jefferson County while living in Beaumont.
Throughout her life Carrol was an active member of the church; she enjoyed painting, shopping, and going to dances with her favorite partner. Her joy in life was becoming Grandmommy to three beautiful grandchildren.
Carrol was proceeded in death by her parents, Eddie and Bertha Wagner. She is survived by her husband of 57 years Pat, her daughter, Laura Nevlud Shaw, her son, Mark Nevlud, and her grandchildren, Ethan Joseph Shaw, Peyton Andrew Shaw, and Lauren Marie Shaw. She is also survived by her sister and best friend, Linda Katherine Routh along with several brother-in-laws, sister-in-laws, nieces and nephews.
