Carol Sheldrake Scott “Scottie” Robertson, age 71, passed away June 10, 2018, after a long and valiant battle with Parkinson’s Disease. She is survived by her wife, Cynthia Clakley of Cypress, Texas; her step-daughter, Julie Robertson of Detroit, Michigan and her husband, Matthew Ciaramitara and her children, Carl, Cecily, and John; her sister, Sandra Castellino of Santa Barbara, California; her brother, Frank Kahler Scott, Jr. and his wife, Vickie, of Naples, Florida; niece, Sasha Marie Castellino; nephews, Cody Scott, Andrew Scott, and Sean Castellino; her extended Clakley family, and numerous great-nieces, great-nephews, and cousins.
She was predeceased by her parents, Frank Kahler Scott, Sr., and Barbara Bonham Dowling of Newark, Delaware.
Scottie was valedictorian of Florida Southern College where she graduated Summa Cum Laude in 1969. She earned her Masters of Social Work from University of Michigan. She was a Baskin-Robbins franchise owner for more than 4 decades in Houston and Sugar Land.
Her many friends and family have loving memories of times spent with her swimming in the ocean in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware, golfing, playing card or board games, watching movies or plays, and a few share precious memories of participating in Murder-Mystery Dinner Parties.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday June 19, 2018, at the National Cremation Society, 5400 Hwy 6 N., Houston, Texas 77084. Visitation will be at 1:00p.m. and the service will begin at 2:00p.m.
