BARBARA HART ROSEBOROUGH, a resident of Metairie and Kenner, Louisiana, passed away peacefully on April 16, 2016. She was born April 19, 1936 in McComb, Mississippi and grew up in Jackson, Mississippi. She graduated from the University of Tennessee. After moving to Louisiana with her husband and children, Barbara obtained her teaching certification and was employed as a 5th grade teacher by the Jefferson Parish Public School System. Barbara is survived by her children, Beth Sibley and husband, David, of Houston and Jeff Roseborough, of Charlotte and Wilmington, North Carolina, and by her grandchildren, Stephen Sibley and his wife, Jackie, Matthew Sibley, Jordan Roseborough and Tanner Roseborough. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frederick J. Roseborough, her mother, Elizabeth E. Hart and her twin grandsons, Christian and Daniel Sibley. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 30, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Pines Presbyterian Church, 12751 Kimberley Lane, Houston, TX, with the Reverend Barbara Retzloff officiating. The family would like to extend a special “Thank You” to her caregivers, Jacqueline Burns, Angelina Sever and Alicia Mejias. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or the Alzheimer’s Association.
