Barbara Ann Lewis

Barbara Ann Lewis, 55, of Katy Texas passed away on September 21st surrounded by her family. Barb grew up all over the U.S. before planting roots in the Houston area. She is survived by her daughter, Haley, her perfect partner in life. Together, they did innumerable art projects, enjoyed old movies and music, found countless vintage bargains, and explored their city. Barb was known for her kindness, intelligence and quick wit. When she was diagnosed with an aggressive form of cancer, she faced it with grace and determination, vowing to fight it with everything. And she fought. Her family is comforted in knowing that Barb's positivity, strength, and spirit will remain even though her physical presence is no longer with us. In addition to Haley, she is survived by her "fur" children; Cooper, Maddie and Ziggy, step-father; Edward Martinez, sister Susan McCarson and daughter Devan (Jay), sister; Jennifer Van Paepegham and daughter Austin (Ryan) and brother Andrew Martinez (Lauren). She is preceded in death by her mother Lori and father Dan. .
