Andrew Matthew Trevino was born on January 30, 1986 in Corpus Christi Texas to Nora and Arthur Trevino. Andrew came into the world as unexpectedly as he left it, but not without leaving behind many who will forever feel the loss of his smile, his quirky sense of humor and his zest for life. The world became a sadder place to be for those who knew him the moment he left us on June 12, 2015.
Andrew attended Cy Falls High School and graduated from Winfern High School and Lone Star College. He made many friends throughout these years, many of which have since come forward to say how great of a friend he was and how he was always there when someone needed a shoulder to lean on.
Andrew is survived by his mother Nora Trevino and stepfather Alfonso Parra, father Arthur Trevino and stepmother Davida Trevino, brother Nathan Alan Trevino, stepbrother Andres Parra and stepsister Carolina Parra. He is also survived by his new son who he loved very much, Jayden Jacob Trevino and his mother Maygan Ray. Although Andrew is now gone, we are happy that we still have a little part of him here on earth with us. Andrew will be greatly missed by extended family to include his maternal grandparents, numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Forever special in his heart is his recently deceased Uncle Gilbert who Andrew often spoke of fondly.
Andrew loved music, movies and books. He could quote movie lines and loved when someone would indulge him in dialogue. He worked in sales and was great at it. He managed a Journey’s for several years. During this time he amassed a shoe collection to rival that of Imelda Marcos. He also enjoyed going to the beach and always said one day he would move to California to enjoy the sand and sun. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, June 18th, 2015 from 9 to 11 a.m. with service immediately following at Katy Funeral Home on 23350 Kingsland Blvd. Katy, Texas. Burial will immediately follow at Memorial Oaks Cemetery at 13001 Katy Freeway, Houston, Tx 77079.
The family wishes to thank all of those who have reached out with condolences.
