Richmond, TX. She was born September 11, 1991. She was 29 years old.
Amy graduated from Morton Ranch High School in Katy and attended Lamar
University in Beaumont and Wharton College in Fort Bend County. She was an
EMT/Paramedic and worked for several years in emergency services in Houston
and College Station. She was a member of Trinity Baptist Church in Katy.
Amy Reiser was a vivacious girl, always ready to stand up for what she believed.
She was fiercely independent and courageous. She loved her family and
friends and was loyal to a fault. Amy was devoted to her children and did
everything she could for them. She loved dogs, horses, family, Florida beaches,
and Disney World. She was an amazing artist and enjoyed painting and building
projects. She was very talented in makeup and hairstyling. She also enjoyed
writing. She truly enjoyed being an emergency medical professional and
helping others.
Amy is preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Charles Howell, and her
paternal grandmother, Carolyn Sand. She is survived by her husband, Richard;
her two children, Scarlett and Charles; her parents, Gordon and Katherine Sand,
(Richmond, TX) her half-brother, Brian Sand, and half-sister, Cathy Hucke, nieces
and nephews (Colorado); her grandmother, Edna Howell; and many precious
aunts, uncles, and cousins, (Florida).
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, December 22, at Katy
Funeral Home, 23350 Kingsland Blvd. Katy, TX, 77494.
