William Francis Scaletty

Father, Grandfather, WWII Veteran, and local business man, William Francis Scaletty died May 4, 2013. William was born July 6, 1926 in Parsons, KS to Frank and Emma Scaletty. He attended St. Mary’s Catholic grade school and Parsons High School. He graduated from Rockhurst College in 1949. William worked for Graybar Electric in Kansas City, MO until he started his own business in 1970 as a lighting manufacturer sales representative. He retired in 2001.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Emma Scaletty, brother John, sister Bernita Jo, and sons Stephen (infant) and Robert. He is survived by his brother Larry Scaletty, KC,MO, and three children. Son and daughter in law Richard and Kathy Scaletty, daughter and son in law Karen and Tony Evans, daughter and son in law Sandra and Ron Rice. Six beautiful granddaughters, and three great granddaughters. A Memorial Mass will be 10 a.m. Saturday, May 11, 2013 at Christ the King Catholic Church, 85th and Wornall Road KC, MO with a visitation prior from 9-10 a.m. and a Rosary at 9:40 a.m.
