I am so very grateful for have given birth to such an incredible man.........I never felt anything but great love for him each time he called me....always twice a week.........and always the same question.......what kind of chicken tonight, Ma.........he had a sense of humor.....he never met a stranger and he had a genuine love for people.I am sure that when I join him is the great beyond he will know everyone there. I am very sorry for your loss! I went to school with Jimmy (as I remember him) from grade school through high school. I have so many good and funny memories...from being envious of his '69 Mustang to the time the stove blew open at his family's lake cabin after he had just lit it so we could make tacos (he apologized again in my yearbook). He always made everyone around him smile. My deepest sympathies.

I'm very sad and shocked with the passing of my dear friend Jim. I first met Jim when I worked at Hen House in Lee's summit and he came to be our Produce Manager. He walked across the Front end and said one of his famous Jim Marsh remarks and that was the moment that I knew that we would get along just fine! When Jim found out that I lived out in the country he decided that I must be a Hillbilly and so he nicked named me Ellie Mae Clampitt. He later shortened it to just Ellie or on Sundays it was Eleanor because he said on Sundays you must be called by your proper name. There was a times that Jim forgot what my real name was because he called me Ellie so much! lol I will miss him and his humor. And hearing him say " Hi Ellie"! Please know that you all are in my thought and prayers during this hard time! May you rest in Peace buddy!

Hi---I am a coworker of Jim's and we had nicknames..I was Hambone(i demoed next to produce) and I called him Tater for obvious reasons.  I saw and worked by him almost every day and met his wife and 2 daughters once and told him how beautiful his family was.  His eyes shone when he talked about his family.  I really came to love working with him, he was fun and always was a good worker.  I miss him.  Love, Diana Sanders

I'm so sorry for this lost to Natalie,his Mom and Missy, his sister, and especially to his wife and children. I remember Jim as I remember his Dad, who he seemed to take after with his sense of humor and love for fun.

Losing Jim was a shock for me and my family and has been the saddest time of our lives.  Jim was a hard worker and a great provider.  He was always so much fun playing basketball in the driveway, fishing, riding the dirt bike, and much more.  He cannot ever be replaced and will be missed so much.  Thank you Jim for all you did for us, for the many laughs and for all the wonderful memories.  We are so blessed to have had Jim in our lives. I will be forever grateful for Jim's generosity. He had a profound impact on my family and it will not be forgotten.  As I write this and see his photo I can hear him almost whispering a very subtle joke in my ear and it makes me smile.  He had such a sly delivery.  He always made me laugh and he is still making me laugh beyond the physical world. I wish his family much love and peace. I feel very fortunate to have known him and for all he offered to everyone in his life.

I will never forget Uncle Jimmy's sense of humor.  He told me once when I was 7 or 8 that he would rather drink toilet water than V8 juice.  It's funny the things that stay with you!  He will be missed.

My husband and I, were completely shocked when a friend of ours called and related the news about Jim.  We knew Jim, (back in the day).  He spent allot of time at our house way back.  Saw him only a few times over the years, but was always smiling.  God Bless to all his family and a special blessing for his wife and children.  

When Jim would come over, he was like having a brother or uncle around.  He would go in the kitchen and start cooking and play with our children.

Wow, what a shock to hear the news of a great friend.  He lived with us (Goose) and me for a few months.   We had many laughs and he called me "Ma".  I would leave him notes in  the morning "Have a good day at school son".   Wow,, it is still a shock.   He will be missed by all who he touched their lives.  Goose has many memories of their childhood and Navy life.   We miss him so much.  BUT he is looking down on us and probably telling us what to do.  He loved his girls (always called them his Princesses).   To Jim's family, he was a great dad, great man, and loved you dearly, he cared for everyone that touched his life.
