Wayne Joseph Weber, 72, of Overland Park, KS, died Monday, November 12, 2018. Wayne was born August 26, 1946 in Wellington, KS to Robert and Gertrude Weber. Wayne graduated from Wichita State with a Business degree in Accounting in 1968 and later served in the National Guard. Wayne was a CPA for most of his life, but as comfortable as he was looking at numbers, he was happiest in his workshop and could make or fix anything. Wayne was also an avid fisherman who enjoyed fishing outings with his "buddies", and he loved hunting with his nephews and brothers. But, his favorite outdoor activity was when he acted as Boat Captain/Ski Instructor. He loved writing a new name in his book of successful students.
He is survived by his wife, Connie Weber of Overland Park, KS; daughter, Ashlea Christopher and husband, Matt of Kansas City, MO; son Brandon Weber and wife Vesna Straser of New York, NY; grandsons, Lane and Landon Christopher and granddaughters, Aima and Ailey Weber. He is also survived by his mother, Gertrude Weber; brothers Richard, Dale and Mark Weber; sisters Norma DeVault and Janet Marshall, and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Weber, and brothers Ronald and Harvey Weber.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, November 16th at 11:00 am at Church of the Nativity, 3800 W. 119th Street, Leawood, KS 66209. Visitation will be immediately preceding the Mass from 10:00-11:00 am.
