Wanda Joyce Boucher, 88, passed away on Thursday, August 18 at Shawnee Mission Medical Center. She was born on May 23, 1928 in Simpson, KS and moved to Kansas City in the mid 40’s where she graduated from Southwest High School in 1945. Joyce was married to Frank C. Boucher on September 3, 1949 at Broadway United Methodist Church and graduated from KU in 1950. She was active in the Sigma Kappa Sorority, DAR and PEO.
Joyce is survived by her loving husband Frank, her son Richard of Evergreen, CO, her son David of Olathe, KS, six grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Visitation will be at Mount Moriah Newcomer & Freeman Funeral Home, 10507 Holmes Rd., Kansas City, MO on September 3, 2016 at 12:00pm with a memorial service at 1:00 pm.
