Vivian Susan Estell Williams was born March 31, 1917. She was the eldest daughter to Robert and Dora Vaughn Estell. She is preceded in death by both parents, siblings, dearest husband Lee Williams Sr., son James Williams, and a baby girl.
Vivian was raised in Kansas City, Kansas; Quindaro. She would grow up and complete school in the Kansas City, Kansas school district.
Vivian married the love of her life, Lee in 1935. At the time of his death, they had been married for 80 years. To their union would bring 5 boys and a daughter. Vivian considered it an honor to be at Lee’s side as “The First Lady” and raise her boys.
Lee and Vivian’s lives would take them on a spiritual journey to various small towns to minister. They would move to Lompoc, CA before settling in Kansas City, MO.
A ray of sunshine, Vivian always kept a smile on her face; nothing could keep her still. She loved sitting outside of “the apartment” and basking in the sunlight. She had no problem with passing out orders to get things done and moved where she wanted them, when she wanted it.
Mom, Aunt Vivian, grandmother, and friend were just a few names she went by. She will truly be missed by those who uttered those names or share fond memories of her.
Vivian leaves to cherish her memory brother Otis Estell, sons, Lee Williams Jr. (Ozella), Melvin Williams (Wanda), Carl Williams (Alberta), Warren Williams, a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
