"Kate" or "Kathryn" as her friends called her was a loving and positive impact to all lives she touched. The love for her family, near or far, was the most important thing to her. She always carried the family in her heart no matter where she was.
Kathryn worked for the Department of Defense where she moved from station to station; she loved her job! She lived in Kansas City, Missouri most of her life until she married a USMC Officer and began her travels. She lived and so saw many beautiful places and made so many forever friends. She even spent a few years in paradise in Roosevelt Roads, Puerto Rico from 1976-78.
Once she returned home, she worked for the Marine Corps Finance Center and retired in 2002.
Kathryn really enjoyed being a part of the 1946 class of Northeast High School. She worked on the Alumni Board and coordinated many luncheons, picnics and reunions with her many great friends to reminisce on the great times they had together.
She also loved to learn and attended as many continuing education classes that she could. She would learn about anything!
Kathryn had a full life filled with love and happy times and that's how we will remember her.
